For our conversation let's consider what happens during the stages of adolescence...
So for our blog post using the above chart, pick one or two elements of development under Early or Middle Adolescence and make an argument for or against using a phone in school. For example: During Early Adolescence as my intellectual interests expand I need a phone to engage more with what I'm interested in studying...discuss your opinion in a few coherent sentences. Do not copy my example.
In Middle Adolescence puberty is complected in you body. This means you grow up with a more matured body structure. This is a good way to see how enhance your body and mind is growing.

DeleteAt the state of Middle Adolescence its a stage were you begin to grow up physically and mentally. We have responsibilities and for example we gain interest in moral reasoning and begin to think about the meaning of life and what is our plan in life. This is great way to show who we are and our purpose through maturing.

DeleteIn Middle Adolescence when puberty is completed my capacity for setting goals expand, I need my phone to be handy to keep up with the things going on in my life. I need to be able to keep things on track with my device.

ReplyDeleteDuring the stage of Middle Adolescence, you are beginning to find your true self. You're hanging out with friends, trying to find your place in the world, and bodily parts are changing. We also start to question life, family, school, etc. I know that with me I always use my phone or laptop to see what's going on in the world.
ReplyDeleteDuring middle adolescence you improve in maturity. You develop social skills and make friends. Your physical appearance also changes such as growing in height. You most likely improve in school and understand the world better.
ReplyDeleteSince teens 14-18 has a greater compassion for setting goals. Teenagers should be allowed to use their phone in school. In schools teenagers participate in many activities after or during school hours. Taking notes and scheduling events is important and makes it easier when they use there phones.

ReplyDeleteDuring Middle adolescence the stage of puberty is completed. You are more mature and you understand better. I believe its important to have your devices near or whenever you need it. This is important because you are able to know whats going on in the world, communicate with others, and use it for school as a tool

ReplyDeleteDuring the Middle stage of Adolescence, teens worry about being weird and distance themselves from their parents for independence. They distance themselves because they are on their phone, which is their's, it is a sign of independence. Some worry about being weird if they don't have a phone. So if teenagers were allowed to use their phones in school, they would interact less with others and become less social. I am against using phones in school.
ReplyDeleteIn the stage of Middle Adolescence, teens are still growing and think about meaning of life and this is important because teens are the future and if it falls into the wrong hands it will all go down the trash bin. What I am basically saying is that maybe it is a good thing to not have phones in school because we are here to get a better education and a better perspective in who we want to be when we grow up (basically in career).
ReplyDeleteDuring the early stage of adolescence, teenagers are still growing. Its hard for them to understand the rules and regulations. Phones should not be used in class because they can use for there advantage. They can record their classmates and teachers without permission. Find ways to cheat on test to get a better grade. Phones should be aloud because mid teens are still young and would most likely break them.
